Strombecker and Scalextric 1/32 racing sets for sale.
Strombecker 1/32 scale slotcar set from the 60's,  #9950.  This is a nice set with everything working, ready to go.  The 2 complete running cars include a white Plymouth Barracuda in fair condition, missing the rear bumper and having a crack at the top left window post area where it meets the roof.   It's chassis is the aluminum type, and silicone rear tires have been added for good traction.  Chassis has been modified slightly to fit the tires.  This car needs a little work to get it running better, perhaps in the guide flag area.  Next is a D-type Jaguar with a black plastic chassis which runs well.  It also has silicone rear tires for good traction.  The body is molded in blue.

The set includes the following aluminum rail type track and accessories:

12 curves
  2 criss-cross straights
  1 chicane straight
  5 regular straights
  12 grey elevation piers
2 tan bridge piers that may or may not go with the         set
~44 black plastic track joiners
1 road racing guide booklet, 32 pages, black &                white
  1 original factory warrantee card
  1- 10 volt powerpack
  2 black speed controllers
~10 guard rails
1 small plastic flag, painted red
4 silver painted flagpoles? (not sure what they are)
1 hand drawn diagram with 1 possible layout                  configuration that uses all of the track in the set.

The set box has some wear and some clear tape on the corners to repair the splits.  Price for everything in this set above $160.00

Scalextric Lotus 1/32 Slot Car Race Set #31 from the 60's.  This is a nice old set with  the cars having working motors but they don't run on the track because the pickup system doesn't make very good contact with the rails and seems somewhat wobbly.  Box top is in rough condition missing right side flap and lid corners, but the vintage artwork and picture of Jim Clark is still there to bring back the memories.  Box bottom and styrofoam insert are in fairly good shape.
The slotcars include a blue and a red Lotus marked MM/C67 on bottom.  They have independent swivel front wheels and the plastic body is two pieces top and bottom.  Both cars have running motors.  The red Lotus is missing the number stickers as shown.
The flexible track type set contains 6 pieces 90 degree curve track, 4 pieces quarter straight track, 5 full straights, 1 starting line straight track, 5 guard rails (one is missing), 4 green plastic 'banking wedges' (8 are missing), 2 bridge pillars, 2 working controllers, and a working 18 Watt power pack, an instruction sheet, a layout guide with track designs and racing rules, and a very nice full color illustrated 5th edition catalog showing various cars, track, and accessories.
Sold as a collectors item, not as a ready to run set.  Price for this neat old set is $150.00
